The first day we went to Lake Manjara and saw so many
elephants up close! We could literally touch the elephants from our car!
Everything was so pretty and we saw so much! It was so neat to see all of the
animals so close up! Day was a great day!
Day 2 we headed to the Serengeti and were able to see the
Great Migration, lions, and leapards! Plus a lot of other animals… I would list
all the animals I say but it would take forever… basically just think of every
possible animal you could see on a safari and that’s what we saw. It was really
cool to see the Great Migration! The zebra and wildebeests migrate together
therefore we say sooooo many zebra and wildebeests. That night we camped out in
the middle of the Serengeti! What an experience! We had hyenas in our campsite
at night. The boys in our group were able to spot them in our campsite with
their flashlights… the hyenas were within twenty feet from our tents! It was
crazy!
Day 3 we woke up super early to see the famous Serengeti
sunset! It was so amazing and beautiful! That morning we were able to see
hippos and lions out moving around. What an experience. We spent the day
looking at the animals in the Serengeti and then headed to the Ngorongoro
crater. That night we camped at the top of the crater. We had a beautiful view
of the crater. That night when we were walking from the dinner all of us were
laughing and joking around, then the guard of the campsite came by and told us
to be quiet because a waterbuffalo was grazing right next to us. We looked up
and a buffalo was literally 5 feet away just eating grass! So crazy! That night
I woke up numerous times hearing buffalo chopping on grass right next to my
ear! It was so cool!
Day 4 we woke up early and headed down into the crater for
some great animal spotting! We saw tons of zebra, wildebeests, hyenas,
warthogs, and giraffes. It was such a great experience!
All in all my safari was amazing! I loved it so much! Our guides were awesome, they knew so much about all of the animals and parks we visited! It was wonderful! Pictures will be added when I get back and can upload pictures to my safari. I
loved it though! So grateful for the opportunity to come here!
